Gunshots at Rick Ross Charity Event
Police Say Shots Scared Kids, But Nobody Was Hurt in Miami Gardens ― What was supposed to be a charity event for kids in Miami Gardens turned into chaos after two people fired into the crowd, not hitting anyone by scaring kids and adults alike. One person was arrested and police have recovered a gun. Police in Miami gardens have yet to release the name of the person they took into custody, but they said a second parson fled the event and is 'on the run'. Hundreds of people had gathered at Carol City Park on NW 185th street in Miami Gardens when the shots rang out shortly after 5 p.m. The event was called Rick Ross Be Out Day, and was intended to help parents get their children ready to go back to school, with the distribution of backpacks and school supplies along with a day of entertainment at the park. Another report claims that a few moments before local artist Flo-Rida was scheduled to perform, a few individuals stormed the stage wearing 'F*** Flo-Rida' t-shirts but security quickly kicked them out. Was this orchestrated?... hope not
