"King of Voiceovers" Don LaFontaine dies at 68

Don created and voiced the movie trailer cliche "In a world where..." - and he also enjoyed having fun with it, as in a recent Geico TV commercial. LaFontaine did the trailers for almost 5,000 movies and 750,000 television spots. He died on Labor Day of complications from a collapsed lung.

    He was truly an amazingly talented voiceover artist. Whenever I hear "in a world..." I'll think of Mr. LaFontaine
