Bob Summers exits from 92.1 WROU Dayton

Longtime WROU veteran Bob Summers exits after 17 years. Bob signed on at WROU FM, 92.1/Dayton back in 1991 as the station’s first Morning Man. Bob also worked the Midday slot and up until recently, handled Afternoon drive. He was also WROU's Production Director.

His career began in 1981 at Magic 104, in Dayton, Ohio. In 1983, Bob moved to WIZE AM in Springfield and in 1985 became evening announcer at WBLZ in Cincinnati. Bob has also been on-air at WTLT in Columbus, Ohio. Reach out to Bob at Bobsummers1@aol.com

  1. i just want to know, what was the name of the jazz song that was played when the quiet fire/storm segment was about to come on, on wblz back in the day?
