Does 50 Cent Run Twitter? We're Sure WorldStarHipHop.com Thinks So... @50Cent
We are of the opinion that 50 Cent can do pretty much whatever he wants to do on Twitter and people will follow.
WorldStarHipHop.com had some server issues recently and were shut down for almost an entire day. Twitterers were having withdrawal symptoms and went ballistic and ran to Twitter to talk about their lost.
Then along comes Curtis Jackson poking fun at WorldStarHipHop.com and egging on his Twitter followers to near hysteria. He tells Angie Martinez on Hot 97 that he was just having fun while still at the same time promoting ThisIs50.com. [AUDIO] Later on Q of the website called in to clear up the rumors.
50 Cent had even more fun on Twitter about two weeks ago when he urged his 3.8 million Twitter followers to invest in a company he was promoting. His fans responded immediately, purchasing $50 million worth of the penny stocks. The New York rapper made $8.7 million from those exchanges. That's some power.
But in 50's defense, he should have a problem with World Star, because the company used his image to build their viral video website that rivals Media Takeout in popularity.
