Who's Talking on the Radio?
There's not many geared towards African American listeners. One talk radio network is US Talk Network available on-line only. Have you heard of them? June 16, 2008 marked the launch of the network. US Talk Network is headed by Lee Michaels, most recently a Senior Vice President of Programming at Radio One. Among the host are Shelley Wynter, former host on WAOK Atlanta and Coz Carson who has worked as talk show host and program director for more than 25 years in New York, Chicago, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Also on the daily line-up are former hosts on XM 169 "The Power", Andre Eggelletion and Mario Armstrong (host of "Digital Spin", which is a very good show on technology). The network is banking on new technologies that will make on-line listening the norm rather than the exception. Maybe a better question might be "Who's Listening Right Now"?
