Wendy Williams on BET's 106 and Park to Promote TV Show and More...

Wendy Williams chats it up with Terence and Rocsi on the couch at 106 & Park. Wendy talks about her Radio Hall of Fame Award, her first radio job making peanuts in the Virgin Islands and the origin of her signature phrase "How You Doin'?" came from. She also reveals that her former co-host Charlamagne Tha God of 100.3 The Beat (WPHI) will be her presenter at the Radio Hall of Fame Awards later this year. By the way, whatever happen to Artie? Who? Exactly.

  1. Yeah, whatever did happen to Art aka Arthur J. Evans? He was actually much funnier than Chalamange because he was doing stand-up comedy at Caroline's of NY.

  2. Charlemagne wasn't brought in as comedy, so they shouldn't be compared.
I heard about Art when I happened upon the Wendy Williams Experience syndicated show at around the same time Charlemagne joined, and heard that he was basically the gay male voice of the show [ insert joke here...lol ]. Supposedly, she wanted a younger/masculine/street counterpoint, so that is probably why Art was let go, but I would like to hear from him the reason he left.

  3. Art was not let go, because of Charlemagne and the only reason Charlemagne was asked to join the show was because ART left in December, 4 months before Charlemagne came to the show! IF you didnt listen to the show When Artier and Dave was there then you missed out on the best radio show ever!!!
