Rickey Smiley to replace the A-Team

Radio One has brought in "The Rickey Smiley Morning Show" at Hot 107.9, one day after massive cuts at their stations across the country.

In Cleveland, production talent, part-time air talent and producers were let go and some fulltime vacancies were not filled. Cincinnati PD Phillip March is out at urban AC MOJO 100.3 (WMOJ), along with a host at talker The Buzz 1230 WDBZ. In Columbus, OH, afternoon driver B. Slim at urban Power 107 (WCKX) and production director Ed Dozier are out. Many Radio One stations had a staff meeting yesterday to share the bad news of the cuts which include terminations at Philadelphia and Washington, DC stations.
