ESPN Fires Former NFL Players Donovan McNabb and Eric Davis Following Harassment Allegations

ESPN has parted ways with former NFL players Donovan McNabb and Eric Davis, as reported by Inside Radio, over (s)exual harassment allegations levied against the two while they were employees of NFL Network. McNabb and Davis were both contributors to the sports network and could be heard on ESPN Radio, with Davis co-hosting a program on “ESPN LA” KSPN Los Angeles (710).

The two were part of seven men named in a suit filed by former NFL Network wardrobe stylist Jami Cantor. Also named were former NFL players Marshall Faulk, Ike Taylor and Heath Evans, all of whom are still employed by NFL Network but are under suspension as that network conducts an investigation.

ESPN conducted its own investigation and released a statement on Saturday, Jan. 6 saying the pair “were no longer working for us.” McNabb and Davis had been under suspension since the suit was filed.

In the suit, Cantor alleges that McNabb sent (s)exually (ex)plicit text messages to her and Davis rubbed up against her and engaged in lewd talk. (Source Inside Radio)
