ESPN unveils Sunday & Monday NFL coverage for Super Bowl LXI season

ESPN and NFL Network have announced their broadcast lineups for the 2026-2027 season, marking ESPN's largest NFL game portfolio ever. The expansive 28-game schedule includes Monday Night Football, a slate of international NFL Network broadcasts, and playoff coverage, all culminating in ESPN’s first-ever broadcast of Super Bowl LXI on February 14, 2027. Fans can also look forward to the return of Peyton and Eli Manning for their sixth season of the popular ManningCast alternative broadcast, which will include a special presentation during the Super Bowl.

The marquee Monday Night Football booth will remain under the steady leadership of Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, who are entering their record-setting 25th season together as a broadcast duo. Sideline reporters Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will join them to round out the main four-person team. This season marks Salters' 15th year on the Monday Night Football sidelines, extending her legacy as the longest-serving sideline reporter in the franchise's history.

NFL Network is introducing revamped broadcast teams for its seven-game slate, highlighted by the regular booth debut of Super Bowl champion Jason Kelce. Kelce will analyze games alongside veteran play-by-play announcer Dave Pasch and Hall of Famer Kurt Warner, kicking off their coverage with back-to-back International Series games in London and the NFL's first-ever game in Paris. The network’s remaining three games will be called by Bob Wischusen and Louis Riddick, with Molly McGrath making her NFL sideline debut for both broadcast teams.

To complement the game broadcasts, both networks are stacking their schedules with extensive on-site and studio programming. Monday Night Countdown will expand its reach by airing on both ESPN and NFL Network, adding Pat McAfee and Jason McCourty to a cast that includes host Scott Van Pelt, Marcus Spears, and Jason Kelce. Weekend coverage will be anchored by Sunday NFL Countdown on ESPN and GameDay Morning on NFL Network, combining to provide seven hours of pregame analysis every Sunday, while the iconic NFL Primetime with Chris Berman returns to stream Sunday evenings.
