FM Radio Does Not Drain Your Battery or Eat Up Your Data Plan like a Streaming App Does... Really?
This sounds like a great selling point that consumers should demand if radio is ready to diversify its programming. But it also makes the case to deter manufacturers from incorporating FM into the phones they make because of the other data-filled streaming music sources that are now available on your phone. Besides the government is not going to make it mandatory anyway. Seems like radio is late to the table and trying to play catch-up.

There is a strong belief among many in the radio industry that FM radio receivers should be incorporated into virtually all mobile devices, including mobile phones.
