Art Terrell and Cory 'Zooman' Miller Exit The Morning Groove at Kiss 104.1
Kiss 104.1 (WALR-FM Atlanta) morning hosts Art Terrell and Cory “Zooman” Miller have exited the Cox Media Group station. Toni Moore and producer Neiko Flowers (pictured far right) are still with the station. Terrell hosted afternoons at the station with Miller until 2017, when they were moved to mornings along with Roy Wood, Jr. to replace The Tom Joyner Morning Show. By that time Tom had already announced his pending retirement and the TJMS was picked up by Radio One's Classix 102.9. Roy Wood moved on to a permanent position on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Trevor Noah."
Art Terrell had been at the station for 17 years in various dayparts and wrote the following on Instagram:
It has truly been an honor and a privilege to open the mic 🎙 and talk to the greatest people in the world in the greatest city in the world (my birthplace ATL) for the last 17 years morning, noon and night. Thanks for ALL THE HIGHS and the ❤️!!! ✌🏽
God makes no mistakes. 🙏🏽 #onwardandupward
Sytonnia "Toni" Moore, who joined the show last year, will host mornings until a new morning show is named by program director Terri Avery.
Going to miss Art Roy and zooman Miller Best wishes to the both of you.
ReplyDeleteKiss 104 is not the same without Art Terrell sorry to see him leave I'm moving on to another station.
ReplyDeleteWe have stop listening to kiss 104. They seem to have issues with the brothers for some reason and they find it unbearable to work there.
