Envy McKee Joins Lite 98.7 for "Best Morning" with Dave 'Wheels' Wheeler

Lite 98.7 (WLZW-FM Utica, NY) has launched a new morning show, "Best Morning" featuring award-winning radio personalities Dave Wheeler and Envy McKee. The guiding principle of Best Morning is the catch phrase, "we're all just doing the best we can." Which means, Dave and Envy engage listeners in conversation from a space of non-judgment, while also inviting local and regional mental health professionals to add perspective to whatever they're discussing on air.

The new show's format is "a work in progress" as they introduce listeners to their new weekday schedule: Monday: Lite'n Up It's Monday--relaxed conversation, Tuesday: The Ladies' Dish--women focused conversation, Wednesday: Hump Day--dating, relationship, and sex focused conversation, Thursday: The Dudes' Dish--men focused conversation, Friday: Feel Good Friday-- conversation centering feeling good and having fun.

Envy McKee has been writing, hosting and producing award winning content for radio, tv, print and digital media in the Philadelphia Metro Area for well over 15 years. She is an award-winning veteran of both music format (Radio ONE) and talk radio (WURD), and regional TV’s Fox 29 Good Day Philadelphia (as a regular contributor). She’s an accomplished voiceover artist, SOUL-Fi author, conversation guide, prolific meditator, tree hugger, rare seed thrower, cat person, and plant-based recipe crafter. New to Utica, Envy is now the Co-Host of Best Morning (with Dave Wheeler) and Assistant Brand Manager of Lite 98.7. Appropriately, she is both Sagittarian and Star People.

McKee shared a bit of her journey from Philadelphia to Utica on the Lite 98.7 webpage, "Husband, Teen, Baby Kitty and I moved to Utica, NY in July (of 2022), with the hopes of some fresher air, to take deeper breaths-- and to chart a new course-- in a new state and a smaller town. We have "framily" that lives here already, so it wasn't a big jump for me to look for ways that I can use my gifts, talents and capacities to be useful."
