How BAD can things get for a radio station?

Tom Kelly, the owner of radio station, WHAT 1340 AM is no longer the general manager of the station. The station known as "Martini Lounge Radio" ranked 41st out of 42 stations in Philadelphia with a 0.1 share in the latest Arbitron ratings. He was voted out by his board of directors. WHAT AM is the former heritage African-American station that was purchased from Inner City Broadcasting in 2007. They haven't had much success with any of the formats they have tried since. Too bad he wasn't the sole owner of the station. What a shame, maybe they should have stuck with programming to African Americans!
