WURD 900 AM Adds The Rob Redding Show

Talk radio show host Robert "Rob" Redding Jr. has extended his nationally-syndicated program, named after his award-winning Web site Redding News Review, into Philadelphia.

Redding's three-hour independent news radio program begins airing every Sunday on 900 AM WURD from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. this weekend.

"Philadelphia is a very important city for my growing news radio program," Redding said. "I thank WURD's management for supporting the program and I look forward to being on the air in a city that I have long admired."

Redding, who is known as "America's Independent Voice," already has a weekly podcast that is downloaded by hundreds each week on his "Black Web Award"-winning Web site, ReddingNewsReview.com. He is also a frequent guest on National Public Radio and the Fox News Channel, and has been quoted in some of the nation's top newspapers. His site has been called a "clearinghouse for African American news" by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper. Redding's show is heard on XM 169 and terrestrial radio via the Genesis Communications Network.

The GCN network airs the show on KTAE-AM in Waco, TX and Austin; KKGN-AM in Oakland, San Francisco and San Jose; WLMC-AM in Myrtle Beach and Charleston; WMEL-AM in Melbourne, Fla.; WVNA-AM in Tuscumbia, Ala.; and throughout Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi on KMLB-AM.
