DJ Envy moves over Power 105.1 for Afternoons and Free is Out
So the rumors have come true. DJ Envy leaves Hot 97 (WQHT) on Monday for crosstown rival Power 105.1 (WWPR) today. Envy will take over the afternoon slot at the station replacing Malika Mallette. Malika will now co-host with Ed Lover "Come On Son" in the morning and Free is out.
Is there such a thing as a non-compete clause with Emmis?
Now DJ Envy will go head-to-head with former co-worker Angie Martinez. That was the hard decision for him to make.
