Patty Jackson of WDAS FM Celebrates 30 Years in Radio

Well wishes on Patty Jackson's 30th Anniversary come from the likes of Philly natives Jill Scott and comedian Kevin Hart- along with gospel duo Mary Mary and CNN anchor Don Lemon. In the [VIDEO] below, program director at the time, Joe "Butterball" Tamburro talks about his first meeting with Jackson.

A native Philadelphian, Patty Jackson, was born on November 4th, 1963. She attended South Philadelphia Motivation High School and the American Academy of Broadcasting before embarking on her radio career at WSSJ in Camden, NJ.

Her diverse career has included country, urban and pop formats, including Power 99 FM and Q102. But, her warm and soulful voice found its true home with adult radio listeners on WDAS-FM. Patty is the reigning Queen of Mid-days from 10am to 3pm, Monday through Saturday.
