Heavy D Documentary "Be Inspired: The Life of Heavy D" Airs Sunday on Centric
"Be Inspired: The Life of Heavy D" premieres on the Centric on Sunday (February 26) at 11:00 PM EST. The hour-long documentary will feature interviews from entertainers and industry figures such as Mary J. Blige, Queen Latifah, Will Smith, Brett Ratner, MC Lyte, and others.
The documentary will also include performance footage, including Hev's last televised performance at the BET Hip-Hop Awards on October 11, 2011.
BET and Centric have showcased the range, richness and diversity of the African-American experience with its Black History Month programming highlighting the cultural contributions of Black America.
