Russ Parr Set to Release New Film: The Under Shepherd [TRAILER]

Russ Parr, the host of 93.9 WKYS and Radio One's syndicated morning show, is set to release his fifth film with a "Red Carpet VIP Screening" of his film, "The Under Shephered," on March 27th at the AFI Silver Theater in Silver Spring, MD in the Washington, D.C. area. Proceeds will go to the Duke Ellington School For The Performing Arts.
The film promises to touch on subject matter and issues surrounding the Black church that are rarely discussed. The Under Shepherd's story centers around two young ambitious ministers whose friendship and character are tested when the opportunity to become pastor of their church arises. The film features an A-list roster of African American actors which include Lamman Rucker, Isaiah Washington, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Clifton Powell, Louis Gossett, Robinne Lee, and Malinda Williams.
The still to come national release and roll out of the film has not been announced.
