New York City Radio Wars Between Hot 97 and Power 105.1

A group of "broadcasters" calling themselves Hip Hop Politics have created a YouTube video on the topic of the battle between Hot 97 (WQHT) and Power 105.1 (WWPR) for ratings in New York City. (Nice suits and production by the way...) They do use some **adult** language in the piece while discussing the debate. (But we're all grown folks here, right?) Charlamagne added fuel to the fire with a recent video of his own he called 'What if Funkmaster Flex Told The Truth.' (Watch it below) But the Hip Hop Politics crew's last statement is pretty telling in what listeners are really looking for when they turn on the radio.

For the record Hot 97 is owned by Emmis Communications and Power 105.1 is owned by Clear Channel Media and Entertainment.

At the end of the day it's not war, it's entertainment!
