Nick Cannon Mornings is Now Official on Power 106 After Real 92.3's Spoiler
Meruelo Media is pleased to announce that TV/Radio host, comedian, actor, producer, rapper, writer, philanthropist, children’s book author ,and activist, Nick Cannon, will join Power 106, LA’s #1 hip hop station, as the morning show’s main host and producer. The show, “Nick Cannon Mornings – Power 106 #1 for Hip Hop,” launches this Monday, June 17, and will air daily from 5AM — 10AM.

Cannon is the Host and Executive Producer of Fox’s #1 hit TV show, “The Masked Singer”, as well as the Creator, Host, and Executive Producer of MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out”, which will begin production on its 15th season later this year. Wild ’N Out has been influential in developing the careers of Kevin Hart, Kat Williams, DC Young Fly, and several other successful comedians. Wild ’N Out’s YouTube channel has amassed almost 5 million subscribers since its official launch approximately 6 months ago. In 2009, Cannon was named chairman of the TeenNick network, making him “the youngest TV chairman in history”. Simultaneously, the entertainment mogul has collaborated with Will Smith, Future, Migos, Chris Brown, Ty Dolla $ign, and others on personal music projects. The day before the official announcement, Big Boy of Real 92.3 revealed to listeners that Nick Cannon would take over as morning host on the station. Of course this is the station where he became a legendary radio personality as host of Big Boy's Neighborhood and now represents his competition.

When Big Boy made the big move to Real 92.3 in 2015, the afternoon host J. Cruz took over mornings. Here's Nick on his show. In April 2019 Cruz also left Power 106 for Real 92.3 as afternoon host.
