Quincy Harris Morning Show Ends Its Run on 100.3 WRNB
The Quincy Harris Morning Show with K. Foxx is no longer a part of 100.3 WRNB's (Philadelphia) lineup at the station. The show which debuted in January 2018 has been taken off the air and off of WRNB's website. The show also featured gospel artist Jermaine Dolly as the comic relief co-host. All three are pictured above with actress Vivica A. Fox.

No announcement has been made regarding the show's replacement. K. Foxx remains with the station as the midday host. She has been doing double duty at WRNB since last summer. Besides the radio gig, Quincy is a talk show on local TV in Philadelphia at FOX 29. He did the morning radio show in a radio studio at TV station, then would host his daily TV before a live studio audience later in the morning.
Quincy Harris, at one time known as Q Deezy, was a morning co-host on the Dream Team at Power 99 in the early 2000's with Wendy Williams and Radio One's VP of Programming Colby Colb. He also worked on Big Boy's Neighborhood in Los Angeles, and at the former Hot 107.9 in Philly.
The Quincy Harris Morning Show replaced the Tom Joyner Morning Show in 2018 with much fanfare, however the programming department has targeted the show as a reason why WRNB's ratings have dwindled over the last few months. The station at the time also axed the Lady B show in favor of the D.L. Hughley Show. But surprisingly enough, it's been the popularity of its sister station Classix 107.9, which flipped from Gospel music, that has been source a ratings increase for 107.9 to the detriment of WRNB.
Classix 107.9 which now features Russ Parr, Dyana Williams, and the return of Lady B, is a much stronger station market wise in Philly.
What might be WRNB's next move? Perhaps they will return to the Tom Joyner Morning Show, for the last month before Tom's radio retirement for nostalgia's sake. This could be a way to prep listeners to bring on board the new Rickey Smiley Urban Contemporary Morning Show beginning in January. Although there are no confirmed plans to bring in his show to Philly. A new station which launched last month, Jammin' 96.9 in Wilmington, Delaware, that's within earshot of Philadelphia, just grabbed the TJMS as its morning show. That station may have the syndication rights through Reach Media for a new show with Rickey Smiley.
Going syndication in drive time with Rickey in the morning and D.L. in the afternoon however would be an interesting move for WRNB and Radio One.???
Why do they always seem to dismantle the good black shows that talk against the ignorant manchild in the white house ??
