Mz Shyneka Back on the Radio in Atlanta as Afternoon Host on Streetz 94.5
Streetz 94.5 in Atlanta has added Mz Shyneka as afternoon host at the station. She starts this Monday, October 12. She was most recently with Radio One's Hot 107.9 (WHTA FM) until company wide cuts in March due to the economic downturn of the coronavirus. After her six month non-compete clause with Hot 107.9, she was able to sign on with Streetz.
Mz Shyneka said, “I am overwhelmed with joy to be back on the radio in my hometown of Atlanta in the afternoons. I can’t wait. "I am even more excited to be reunited with Steve Hegwood and the Streetz 94.5 family to continue making history at the only Black owned station in Atlanta.”
CORE President CEO Steve Hegwood added, “It is my pleasure to sign Mz Shyneka to afternoons. Her addition to our great Streetz 94.5 team keeps us at the forefront of this competitive Atlanta market."
