Nick Cannon Reunites with Power 106 for Mornings

Nick Cannon returns to Los Angeles’ iconic hip-hop station Power 106 (KPWR-FM) with a new, locally focused show heard mornings 6am-10am PST. “Los Angeles, I am back and ready to lift you up in the mornings and bring joy at the crack of dawn with original comedy and candid conversation!” said Nick Cannon. “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do – and I am grateful for my supporters, friends and loved ones who have guided me through this journey these past few months. The nationally syndicated daily Nick Cannon Radio show features original comedy, pop culture and unique conversations Nick has with performers, many of whom are his friends. On weekends, Cannon’s Countdown features music curated by Nick Cannon to reflect Nick’s top songs from radio and streaming with his insights on these performers.

Following his disassociation with CBSViacom following the controversial interview with Professor Griff, formerly of Public Enemy, where he echoed anti-Semitic comments; Nick Cannon has been restored to all of his previous media outlets and now including radio. Cannon is back as host on “Wild ‘N Out” following an earlier announcement that the show would be cancelled. He will continue to host the Masked Singer on FOX as well. 

Cannon had previously resumed his radio show following the controversy on a host of syndicated stations outside of Power 106 in Los Angeles.
