That Time Keyshia Cole Gave One of the Worst Radio Interviews Ever on 92Q Jams The Big Phat Morning Show

WERQ 92Q Jams in Baltimore has announced a new local morning show, The A.M. Clique debuting this Monday (3/8/21) with Porkchop and AngelBaby. The station had featured The Rickey Smiley Morning Show over the last decade. When Ricky Smiley transitioned to the Urban AC format in January 2020, 92Q brought in The Morning Hustle with Headkrack.

The A.M. Clique will be the first local morning on 92Q since 2008.

It was the iconic locally produced The Big Phat Morning Show that ruled the airwaves in Baltimore from 1999 to 2008. The show featured Marc ClarkeTroy Johnson with Sonjay and Porkchop being added to the show later on.

Besides playing the best Hip Hop music at the time, the show garnered top interviews with local interest from Sisqo of Dru Hill to the kid who killed Omar on the best TV show ever 'The Wire'; BUT then THERE WAS THIS interview with Keyshia Cole. She was obviously tired and didn't know if she was in Baltimore or Washington, D.C.

Kudos to Marc Clarke for handling this interview with the utmost professionalism.

Instead of doing an interview like the one below:

The Wire Interview:

The Dru Hill reunion... well almost interview (love the Myspace reference)

All the best to The A.M. Clique for reviving local morning radio in Baltimore.
