The Rick and Sasha Show with George Willborn Set to End Its Morning Show Syndication Run

The Rick and Sasha Show with Rick Party, Sasha the Diva, and George Willborn will be ending their syndication run according to a report from All Access. The Atlanta based show from Westwood One launched in 2019 and is heard on many Cumulus Media stations across the country. All Access is reporting that the show will end production and distribution on April 16th.

Many smaller markets from Kansas City to Charleston will look to fill mornings with local hosts or choose from syndicated hosts outside of Rickey Smiley and Steve Harvey who are most likely under contract with the competition. Options include Russ Parr, DeDe McGuire, Chubb Rock with Siman Baby, and Sheryl Underwood.

Rick and Sasha airs in Atlanta on Classic Hip Hop WWWQ-FM OG 97.9 and on Bronxville, New York's WNBM-FM Radio 103.9 (that covers a portion of NYC). Those station's will also be looking for a new morning show.

Rick Party is the voice of ESPN's SportsCenter and images many stations across the country.

Comedian and veteran radio host George Willborn who joined the show in 2020, has recently been added to The Frank Ski Show with Nina Brown for a feature that airs in the afternoon on 96.3 WHUR in Washington, D.C.
