Breland Moore Heads Home as New Sports Anchor at Fox 29 Philadelphia
Breland Moore is joining Fox 29 (WTXF) Philadelphia as a sports anchor for the station’s weekday 5, 6, 10, and 11 p.m. newscasts. The Temple University grad will also host Sports Sunday and anchor the Eagles pregame show Game Day during the NFL season. She replaces Kristen Rodgers.
“Breland is Temple proud, but Philly made!” said VP and news director Jim Driscoll. “We welcome her back to the best sports town in America, where the fans will love her passion as much as they love their teams.”
Moore last worked at KCTV in Kansas City as a sports anchor. She’s also worked at WHEC in Rochester, N.Y.
Some news to share. I have decided to leave KCTV. Today’s my last day on staff.

Kansas City, it’s been my absolute pleasure meeting all of you & becoming part of your community. Thank you SO MUCH for your immense kindness & support, it meant the world to me. Keep in touch!❤️💛 pic.twitter.com/zDd3n70156
“No matter where this job led me, I’ve always hoped for a full circle journey to bring me back to Philadelphia,” Moore said. “I’m ready to return to the city that raised and educated me so I can cover the very teams and athletes that inspired me to get into this profession in the first place.”
Okay I lied when I said my gift shop purchases aren’t going to be pictured because I own this now and I’m really pumped about it and needed you to see too 😂😍 pic.twitter.com/bmXKfzN8GD
