Fully Vaccinated Channel 2 Action News WSB-TV Anchor Fred Blankenship Knocked Off the Air Due to Bout with Covid-19

Channel 2 Action News (WSB-TV Atlanta) anchor Fred Blankenship is slated to return to the morning anchor desk on Monday after contracting COVID-19. He states in the Facebook post below that he and family tested positive while vacationing in California although he himself was fully vaccinated against the virus.

Blankenship known for his tributes to Hip Hop artists with traffic reporter Mark Arum sprinkled and intertwined in their newscasts also provides information on rare breakthrough cases such as his from Channel 2.

Fred Blankenship got vaccinated & still got Covid & experienced symptoms like struggling the breathe, aches/pains & lost of taste/smell!

Im glad that he's doing better but Damn! I'm sick of this Covid mess!
