Brooke Thomas Named Early Morning Anchor on FOX 11 KTTV and Good Day LA
Brooke Thomas has been named anchor of the 4 a.m. newscast on FOX 11 (KTTV-TV) in Los Angeles. Thomas said on Twitter that anchoring in Los Angeles has been a “lifelong dream.” She has been filling in at the Fox-owned station since December as well as hosting The Black Report on the FOX Soul channel.
Thomas while working at CBS3 (KYW-TV) in Philadelphia was subject to a hostile and racist work environment in which she was abruptly fired after four months in 2016 simply because, as CBS This Morning and the Los Angeles Times reported, for being Black.
