Wild 94.9 Radio Host ‘JV' Jeffrey Vandergrift Found Dead in San Francisco Bay
Wild 94.9 radio host Jeffrey Vandergrift, widely known as "JV," was found dead Wednesday after going missing last month. Vandergrift's body was found Wednesday afternoon in the water near Pier 39 in San Francisco, officials said. Authorities did not immediately find evidence of foul play.
Vandergrift hosted “The JV Show” at Wild 94.9 since 2009. He had previously co-hosted “The Doghouse” with Dan ‘Elvis Medina’ Lay from 1995 to 2005. Vandergrift had previously shared on social media his personal health struggles dating back to 2021. He was eventually diagnosed with Lyme disease.
