Netflix Welcomes The Pivot Podcast with Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor, and Channing Crowder

Netflix is expanding its podcast universe, and one of its biggest new additions is The Pivot Podcast, arriving on the platform on September 8. The move gives fans another way to experience the sports, music and entertainment conversations that have made Ryan Clark, Fred Taylor and Channing Crowder such influential voices in the podcast space.

Netflix says it is also renewing its existing podcast lineup for additional episodes, including Murder with My Husband, The Pete Davidson Show, Shut Up Evan, The Puzzle Room with David Kwong and Allegedly with Ellison Barber, while adding new shows featuring personalities such as Katt Williams and Harlan Coben. With more than 60 podcasts already available, Netflix is clearly betting that audiences want their favorite creators not only to be heard, but also seen.

For Clark, the Netflix deal adds a compelling chapter to significant comeback. After his firing from ESPN, Clark could have seen that decision as a roadblock; instead, The Pivot has continued to grow into a platform that allows him to operate on his own terms alongside Taylor and Crowder. The Netflix announcement reinforces the value of what Clark and his co-hosts built independently. What initially looked like a setback at ESPN has helped create an opportunity for Clark to have greater ownership, visibility and influence.

The Pivot is not moving exclusively off YouTube. The deal is structured so that new video episodes will stream exclusively on Netflix. Beginning September 8, new episodes will be released on Tuesdays and Fridays. The existing episode library will be available on Netflix and YouTube.
