NFL or RNC

John McCain, nah. Ready for some football? Yes. Tonight kicks off the NFL season with the New York Giants vs. the Washington Redskins. Let's see who's talking football on local radio.

In DC, there's former Redskins tight end Rick "Doc" Walker from 12-2pm ET and former special teams returner Brian Mitchell from 2-4pm ET on the John Thompson Show on ESPN 980 (WTEM).

In Philly there's former Eagles Ike Reese and Hugh Douglas on "The Players Lounge" Saturday afternoons from 1-3PM ET on 610 WIP. Also catch Hugh on the morning show and Reese's "Ike at Night" show from 7-11pm weeknights on WIP.

In the Big D you can hear former Dallas Cowboy Michael Irvin on 103.3 FM ESPN from 11am-2pm CT.

And nationally, there's former Detroit Lion Ryan Stewart and his brother Doug, better known as the 2 Live Stews on the Sporting News Radio network and locally on Atlanta's 790 The Zone 1-4pm ET.

Get your fantasy picks ready for this weekend.
