More Cuts at Sirius/XM urban music channels

Several veteran broadcast radio personalities have been let go from the XM side: Soul Street's Bobby Bennett and Leigh Hamilton, BK Kirkland of the Groove and Suite 62's Vic Clemens. Along with Raw's Mz Kitt and The City's DJ Xclusive and Lisa Ivery.

Marc Fisher's article >> washingtonpost.com, reveals that a move to merge XM and Sirius programming into one common channel line-up could come as soon as November 5th .

That's "directly in opposition to Sirius XM chief Mel Karmazin's repeated promises to keep the two voices separate and distinct for some time to come."
