The President Elect Obama will use YouTube to talk to the nation

Here's Barack Obama's address to the nation from Saturday.

President Elect Barack Obama will continue the practice of addressing the nation on Saturday morning by using the services of YouTube and other well known sites after he becomes President. The now traditional Saturday morning presidential radio address will go a step further with online video. President Ronald Reagan started the weekly radio address in the 1980s and the idea was adopted by Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. Reagan - who did radio in the Midwest as a young man, before his Hollywood career took off - found the radio address to be a valuable (and free) way to get one focused message out each week, when the news cycle was often very quiet. Barack Obama will also post his videos on his transition website and is also available on AOL, Yahoo, and MSN.
