Obama Has The "*****-i-tises"
...you know it rhymes with arthritises.
In a 2001 "lost episode" of Check, Please!, a PBS restaurant review program, then state senator Barack Obama reviewed the "Dixie Kitchen and Bait Shop" in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. Obama talks about eating a few of the pancakes at this restaurant and beginning to nod off. I don't think the others at the table quite understood what he was talking about.
The full episode will air on January 16th at 8:00PM on the PBS station in Chicago, Channel 11 WTTW. What a great name for a restaurant, huh?
