Saturday Morning's "Auto Scoop" on V-103 Gets Chopped

Rodney Ho of the AJC reports that V-103 (WVEE Atlanta) has decided to end its weekly automotive advice and talk show “Auto Scoop” with Adam Goldfine and Quiet Storm host Joyce Littel. Program Director PD Reggie Rouse said he wasn’t ready to announce what will replace it, if anything. Auto Scoop is syndicated by CBS Radio to a number of other talk format stations around the country. No word yet on if the show will continue in syndication or on it's sister AM station 1380 WAOK...

I always thought the show never fit in the format of the Hip-hop/Urban station from 8AM to 10AM on a Saturday Morning. Especially since it was broadcast on WAOK at the same time and on television on CW69 also. Yes, I understand it was a good sell for advertisers and for consumers looking to buy a car on the weekend, but how in the world did a show about buying cars help the community on the so-called "The People's Station." Then again this is Atlanta, the home of the most bourgeois, perpetrating people in America and the Real Housewives of... need I say more.
