Tom Joyner Live From DC Next Week

The Tom Joyner Morning Show will be in Washington D.C. covering the historic inauguration of President Barack Obama with live broadcasts, special guests and exclusive programming from Jan. 19 – 21.

The radio show will offer unprecedented coverage of the historical occasion, including exclusive interviews, surprise guests and award-winning commentary on the official and unofficial events of the week. Additional coverage, information, and exclusive content will be available on BlackAmericaWeb.com. Airing live each day from 6 to 10 a.m., Joyner, together with co-hosts Sybil Wilkes and J Anthony Brown, will be live from one of D.C.’s most celebrated neighborhood restaurants, Ben’s Chili Bowl, in a broadcast to commemorate the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday, Monday, Jan. 19.

The TJMS will have a history-making “party with a purpose” on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20, when the crew will spread out around the city to keep listeners informed of every activity of the day, including broadcast spots on Constitution Ave, Pennsylvania Ave and the U.S. Capitol. Plus, listeners can join in the “BlackAmericaWeb.com Blog Party” as well for “man on the street” reports from special news correspondents.
