Julio G Los Angeles Radio Personality says Listeners are Burned Out on Radio
Julio G West Coast and Los Angeles area DJ and radio personality is credited with the rise of gangsta rap as part of the airstaff at the original KDAY and then as part of the team at the legendary radio station 92.3 The Beat. How in the world can a radio station actually offer an on-air personality of his magnitude, in the #2 radio market in the country, $30,000/year? That would be an insult 30 years ago! However WE know someone did take that job, probably for less.
Julio goes on to say that it would not be right for him to take such an offer in respect for the up and coming personalities that will follow him someday.
