Chrisette Michele on Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music"

Chrisette Michele won a Grammy Award for Best Urban/Alternative Performance in 2009 for her song "Be OK", but many Hip Hop fans know her as the singer that supplied the incredible hook on Rick Ross' "Aston Martin Music." Ross talked to MTV about Chrisette's work on the track,
"She loved the beat. She wrote her lyrics, ...It took her 10, 15 minutes to cut her vocals. I'm sitting there like, Wow. All right, all right."
The song was all set for a performance at last fall's Soul Train Music Awards until Ross left the building after losing out to Eminem. The song was not nominated for a Grammy, so we won't see it performed there either. In fact the two have not talked since the incident. Chrisette talked about her disappointment with Cherry Martinez on Power 105.1. The performance would have been special according to Michele.

Here's the Chrisette Michele interview on Power 105.1 and the video with Drake as well. After the jump...
