EZ Street 93.9 WKYS Broadcasts From The Max Robinson Center for National Black HIV/ AIDS Awareness Day

EZ Street broadcasted live from The Max Robinson Center in SE DC to bring awareness to the community on National Black HIV/ Awareness Day. The event included free HIV testing, counseling, educational workshops, food, and entertainment. www.kysdc.com

Whitman-Walker Clinic's Max Robinson Center is named after the nation's first African-American network news anchor(on ABC World News Tonight), Max Robinson, who died of AIDS in 1988. Prior to his groundbreaking position with ABC News, Robinson was a local anchor in Washington, D.C. Noted author and activist Randall Robinson is his brother.
