March Madness, NFL, and Madden Announcer Gus Johnson set to leave CBS for FOX Sports

Gus Johnson is slated to do the next edition of Madden NFL '12 but his tenure with CBS Sports is reportedly over. It also looks as if his play-by-play college basketball and MMA event calls are over as well. He is rumored to be in talks with Fox Sports to cover Pac 12 and Big 12 conference college football and maybe NFL football.

Johnson's style and signature calls at the conclusion of NCAA tournament games has earned him a following among many college basketball fans. He is scheduled to work Showtime's pay-per-view coverage of this Saturday's Manny Pacquiao-"Sugar" Shane Mosley fight. Gus Johnson's departure from CBS has not been confirmed by the network and reports suggest they have a week to match Fox Sports' offer.

HA-HAAAAAAAAA!!!
