Chicago radio legend Herb Kent Celebrates 83rd Birthday
Chicago radio legend Herb Kent celebrates his 83rd birthday. You can leave him a message at the V103 WVAZ website.
Herb still holds down a regular air shift at the station. He is on the air every Saturday 8:00 AM to Noon and Sunday from Noon to 7:00 PM.
Known as "The Cool Gent," the Chicago native started in radio in the late 1940's in his hometown and Gary, Indiana. He was inducted into the radio hall of fame in 1995. Herb has been playing "the dusties" since 1988 on V103. The website has a full photo gallery.
