Skip Murphy Fills In for Tom Joyner on the TJMS
If you're a fan of the TJMS then you have been hearing veteran Dallas radio personality Skip Murphy instead of Tom Joyner as the host of the syndicated morning show. No, Tom has not been replaced. Tom Joyner is out until the new year as he is at home recuperating following successful hip replacement surgery.
Skip Murphy was the long-time morning man on KKDA "K104" Dallas, and then later heard on Urban AC sister station KRNB in afternoons.
Murphy will be heard along with TJMS regulars Sybil Wilkes and Jay Anthony Brown from Dec. 9 – Dec. 23. The TJMS will air “Best of Shows” the week between Christmas and New Year’s (Dec. 26 – Dec. 30), with the full crew returning to the air January 2.
Skip received the prestigious "Bama of the Week" award from gossip reporter Huggy Lowdown also know as the "Celebrity Snitch" on his first day on the job last week. Check out what you missed as Huggy went in on Murphy again on this morning's show. We think Skip might want to resubmit another photo to the TJMS website. That's probably another reason why Huggy was being so hard on Skip.
Here's more on Skip Murphy from the TJMS website.
