WRNB Honors Don Cornelius and Whitney Houston with the World's Largest Soul Train Line
Coming on the heels of a movement that first started on Facebook, 100.3 WRNB honored Don Cornelius and his music legacy with a Guinness Book of World Records Soul Train Line on Monday, February 13th on the steps of the world famous Philadelphia Art Museum.
On air personalities Dyana Williams, E. Steven Collins, DJ Touchtone, along with Mayor Michael Nutter and many fans of Soul Train honored Don Cornelius with a number of old school dances including the freaky deaky, the penguin, bump, the robot, the twist, the bop, and some good old fashioned popping and locking in the worlds largest Soul Train Line. In the famous words of Cornelius "You can bet your last money, it will all be a Stone Gas Honey; WE WISH YOU... LOVE, PEACE, and SOUL!"
[VIDEO]The local CBS station covered the event and as expected many of the people there share their thoughts about the death of Whitney Houston as well.
