ABC News Radio to Produce Special Program Sparked by Trayvon Martin Death hosted by Robin Roberts
The special one-hour broadcast will take place tonight (3/28) at 7:00 pm ET and will be hosted by “Good Morning America’s” Robin Roberts. Titled, “Race and Justice: A National Conversation,” the show will focus on the national dialogue that’s been spurred by the shooting death of Trayvon Martin. Her guests include "CSI: New York" actor Hill Harper, hip-hop artist Q-Tip (of A Tribe Called Quest), ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith, and A.R. Bernard, founder of New York City's Christian Cultural Center.
ABC News Radio says the show will feature “Robin Roberts leading a town hall discussion with prominent newsmakers and an audience of high school students and parents. The program will further the national discussion involving all racial and ethnic groups stirred by the circumstances of Trayvon Martin’s death.” The show is available to ABC News Radio affiliates and will be streamed at ABCNews.com and GoodMorningAmerica.com.
