Kelly Mac NEW Host at V103 and APD at WGCI

Kelly Replaces Kris Kelley in Chicago

Clear Channel Chicago names Kelly Mac as the new midday host of V103 (WVAZ-FM) and new Assistant Program Director of 107.5 WGCI-FM. She will begin her new positions on December 3rd.

Kelly Mac comes to Chicago from Clear Channel Philadelphia's Power 99 WUSL-FM and WDAS-FM, where she was the Assistant Program Director and Music Director since February 2011.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Kelly Mac began in radio in 1999, working her way from the bottom to the top. She started as a part-time receptionist for Radio One, Inc. From there, she later became Programming Assistant at WZAK-FM and WENZ-FM in Cleveland. After that, she was able to become an on air personality, something she had always dreamed about. Between her start in Cleveland to her most recent jobs in Philadelphia, Kelly Mac has worked in Charleston, SC, Mobile, AL, and Greenville, SC -- always working on the air and also helping with programming behind the scenes.

Former midday host Kris Kelley exited her roles as midday host of WVAZ-FM and Assistant Program Director of WGCI-FM to take over as the new Program Director for 103.5 Kiss FM (WKSC-FM) and WGCI-FM. Kelly Mac will now replace Kris Kelley's previous roles with WVAZ-FM and WGCI-FM.

In a statement issued this morning, Derrick Brown, Director of Urban Programming for Clear Channel Media + Entertainment Chicago, said: "Kelly Mac is an innovative and creative talent -- her passion and energy creates a natural connection with listeners. Kelly's extensive programming expertise will help strengthen our brands. I am thrilled to have Kelly join the Clear Channel Chicago team."

Kelly Mac said today: "I admire Kris Kelley and Derrick Brown's programming talents and I am very excited to work with them as well as the rest of the Clear Channel Chicago team. WGCI and WVAZ are two historic brands and I'm really looking forward to working in the Chicago market."
