4th Annual Egypt’s Give Back Tour collects toys, clothing, baby items and toiletries to be donated at CVS/pharmacy locations during week-long live broadcast throughout metro Atlanta

(ATLANTA, GA) – DECEMBER 4, 2013: V-103, the Egypt Cares Family Foundation and CVS/pharmacy are joining forces to “Give Back” this holiday season! Since becoming V-103’s midday host in March of 2012, Egypt Sherrod has proven herself to be more than just another voice on the radio. Also the face of HGTV’s “Property Virgins,”Egypt masterfully balances work, family and life, and manages to spearhead impactful fundraisers for those in need. Now, in the thick of the holiday season, she continues her mission to create and support community efforts.

Monday, December 9, 2013 will kick-off the 4th Annual Egypt’s Give Back Tour – a clothing, toy and toiletries drive that aids metro-Atlanta’s financially challenged residents. Created in 2010 as the inaugural activity of the Egypt Cares Family Foundation, Egypt’s Give Back Tour has made its home in Atlanta for the last two years and has become one of the most important charitable efforts in the city during Christmastime. This year, the cause will benefit The Atlanta Children’s Shelter, The Cascade House and The Covenant House. Sponsored by CVS/pharmacy, the tour will broadcast LIVE on The People’s Station, V-103, December 9 – 13, 2013, from 10AM – 2PM each day at the following locations:

*Atlantans are encouraged to come out to these selected locations and make donations of gently worn coats, baby clothing, unwrapped toys and toiletry items.

There is always an overwhelming show of support from the general community, but Egypt’s Give Back Tour draws in Atlanta’s “Who’s Who” as well!
