More for The Breakfast Club, Adds the NEW 104.5 The Beat Orlando

Clear Channel Orlando has launched the NEW 104.5 THE BEAT, "Otown’s Hip Hop and R&B" on a translator station that will cover most of the Orlando, Florida market and it's northwest suburbs. The Beat will feature New York's Power 105.1 syndicated morning show “The Breakfast Club” with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlmagne Tha God beginning Monday, February 24. The Beat is being programmed by PD Brian Mack of Top 40 “XL 106.7” WXXL.

The station had previous aired the format of AM radio sister station News/Talk 540 WFLF, which now airs on 102.5 FM. The shuffling by Clear Channel also saw the elimination of WLOQ Smooth Jazz on 102.5. That station is now heard only on iHeart Radio and HD radio station 107.7 HD2.
