Michael Baisden Set to Return to 96.3 WHUR in Washington, D.C.
The Michael Baisden Radio Show Returns On MLK Day January 16, 2017!
"I know it’s been a while since we connected on the radio but we’ve been hanging out on Facebook ever-single day since the show went off the air in March of 2013. Hard to believe it’s been that long, right?
For those who know about the show you already know how we roll, we play the best old school music on planet, engage in substantive conversation, have lots of laughs and we doesn’t just talk about making a different in the community we hit the streets!"
This week 96.3 WHUR has run promos for the new Michael Baisden show, which is set to launch from Atlanta on January 16th. "TMG in the Afternoon" with Tony Richards, Mo Ivory, and George Willborn have quietly exited afternoons on WHUR. Baisden shared some information about the new show but reveals little in terms of co-hosts or a list of affiliates for the new show. Perhaps comedian Willborn, a former sidekick on the show will reunite with Baisden. As it stands now, Atlanta (Kiss 104) and Washington, D.C. are on board. Based on Baisden's previous success, we expect more stations to be announced in the upcoming week. Check back for updates.
