During discussions about the last night’s Golden Globe Awards, Hall shared the first time he saw

The first
Broadway play I ever saw was ‘Fences’ with James Earl Jones. James Earl
Jones had a moment where he’d say – you know he had that speech ‘I’ve
given you everything…’ – and he would have snot fly…
I went backstage
and I said ‘Wow, you got wound up in that moment!’ and he says
{impersonating James Earl Jones voice} ‘I do that every night.’ And he
looked at me and he said ‘method snotting.’
