LaDawn Black Added to Sunday Middays on 107.5 WBLS
LaDawn Black announced via instagram that she joins the on-air staff at 107.5 WBLS in New York City. LaDawn will be heard on Sundays during the Midday slot on New York's legendary Urban Adult Contemporary station beginning August 6th. She recently left her on-air position at Urban One Baltimore's Magic 95.9 to head up Public Relations and Marketing at the Reginald F. Lewis Museum of Maryland African American History & Culture in the Charm City.
Here's more on the Lewis Museum:
In 1992, Forbes listed Lewis the Baltimore native, among the 400 richest Americans, with a net worth estimated at $400 million. He also was the first African-American business owner to build a billion dollar company, Beatrice Foods. The Lewis Museum is Maryland's largest museum focused on the state's African-American history and culture, as well as nationally, and on the African diaspora. A Smithsonian affiliate, the museum offers a permanent collection, rotating special exhibitions, a resource center, as well as programs such as a film series, a recurring open mic night, live music series, and family programming.
